It’s time for Tuesday Tales!
Today we have an excerpt from Pines & Violets, the final book in my Colors of Love series.
Do bear in mind that these snippets are unedited so please be kind if you find any mistakes.
This story may have gay erotic scenes, strong social issues addressed and mature language. If those things offend now is the time to move onto another Tuesday Tales blog. Thanks for stopping by!
“I might not be able…to get out of this bed,” he said when I eased out of him and stumbled to the door.
“Then stay there. I’m not done with you yet.”
“I love the sounds of that. Grab food and water!”
I rushed to the bathroom, disposed of the used condom in a tiny blue trash can, and then washed up a bit. No sense to putting a lot of work into it. When I had said that I wasn’t done with the man I had meant it. I planned to love him as often as I could. Hopefully neither of us would be able to walk tomorrow. I pattered around the kitchen, grabbing goat cheese and two bottles of raspberry iced tea from the fridge then scrounged up some wheat crackers.
He was just tossing a clean bottom sheet over the mattress when I walked in. “I found a little energy. Oh great! I love the gorgonzola!”
We spread ourselves out over the bed then placed the food and drink around us. He fed me his handmade cheese on a cracker. It was rich, creamy, and sharp. The blue-green lines were spicy when they hit your tongue. I did the same for him. We broke tiny bits off the fat wheel, placed them on the square crackers, and then washed the tart blue cheese down with the cold tea. And in between bites I would kiss him. It was impossible to choose which was the most delicious. His cheese or his lips.
