It`s time for Tuesday Tales.
Today we have an excerpt from Kaleidoscope Dreams, a Colors of Love Novella.
Please do bear in mind that these snippets are unedited so please be kind if you find any mistakes.
This story may have gay erotic scenes, strong social issues addressed and mature language. If those things offend now is the time to move onto another Tuesday Tales blog. Thanks for stopping by!
Lucas was the only Viklund that showed up for dinner.
Color me not fully surprised.
“I asked Anders to stay home and continue packing for an hour,” Lucas informed me as we hesitantly shook hands over the small table I’d reserved. “He agreed but reluctantly so. I think he fears that I will punch you in the face.”
“I hope not. I’ve only been hit in the nose once and that was back in my college days. Made a move on some guy’s girl. Ever since then I prefer to keep my face as far from fists as possible. Please sit down.”
I seated myself as Lucas lowered his bulk into his chair. Our server hustled over to get Lucas’ drink order. I’d gotten a lemon-lime soda. Diet. My bike ride to the castle had gone well. I’d made it to keep. Then spent twenty minutes sprawled on the lush grounds trying to pull in enough breath to not pass out. It was a close thing. My hamstrings still ached but I’d done it. I even snapped a picture then sent it to Dr. Alan Sugarman with a note that read “Biking up a mountain. Blood pressure lowered. No cigars. Expecting two smiley face stickers at next appointment.” Alan wrote back that he was pleased and if I kept it up, I’d get a ducky sticker as well. Funny medical people.
“I do have to wonder why you chose my son to become your gay experiment.”
My sight flew from the bubbles in my drink to Lucas.
That was direct. And it made me mad. Instantly. Thumb nail to match head. Woosh.

Whoa! Thumbnail to match head? Getting a little out of hand, aren’t we? Love the use of the word prompt. Great scene.
