It’s time for Tuesday Tales!
Welcome back! This week is our picture prompt week, and all posts must reflect the chosen image. Our picture prompt posts have to reflect the chosen image and can be no longer than 300 words.
Do bear in mind that these snippets are unedited so please be kind if you find any mistakes.
This story may have gay erotic scenes, strong social issues addressed and mature language. If those things offend now is the time to move onto another Tuesday Tales blog. Thanks for stopping by!
Sure, I knew I should be focused on trying to make Eli feel better, but I could not get my mind on my friend.
All my thoughts centered on the imposing hunk in the black suit and slim pink tie. Keaton Black Bird. Talk about trade. The man was gorge. And commanding. I’d never felt such an immediate attraction to a man before, not like this. Sure, I’d been kind of squee over guys in my BL dramas or K-Pop bands. Heck, I’d even gotten swoony over a few of my fave manga artists at a comic con last year. But those were crushes. Attractions to people that I knew I would never have a chance with.
Do you really think you have a chance with a powerhouse alpha like Keaton?
Gah. I hated my inner saboteur so much. But he was right. Keaton Black Bird had a list of lovers ten miles long I was sure. Not one was chubby and Asian or wore corsets. He probably only dated Navy Seals or athletes. Hell, he might not even be queer. What did I know?
“… it’s a good idea to go on tonight?”
I snapped back to reality when Eli tapped my forearm with a long French-tipped nail.
“I’m sorry, I was thinking about bodyguards,” I confessed, my cheeks warming as I went back to brushing and curling one of Gigi’s wigs. A platinum blond pompadour that would look amazing with her alabaster skin.
Gigi did smile a little at the mention of Keaton. “He does seem to know what he’s doing. With him taking charge I don’t feel quite so exposed, especially when Tyr is on the road. Stupid hockey! Why don’t they just play at home all the time?”
“Because other teams want to play at home too,” I said with as much gentleness as possible. I adored Eli – he was my best friend – but sometime he was a little self-centered. He didn’t mean to be, he was just so used to being the one who drew all the attention. The classic beauty. “It was really nice of Leroy and Nate to arrange for him to come protect you. You should call Leroy to thank them.”
Thanks so much for dropping by!
