It’s time for Tuesday Tales!
Welcome back! This week is our picture prompt week and all posts must reflect the chosen image. Today’s post is from Safflower, a Tales of Bryant Novella #3. Our picture prompt posts have to reflect the chosen image and can be no longer than 300 words.
This story may have gay erotic scenes, strong social issues addressed and mature language. If those things offend now is the time to move onto another Tuesday Tales blog. Thanks for stopping by!
Changing buses at the next stop, I rode to the theater district and hopped off near the Doyle Peabody Theater. The street was packed with tourists and theater-goers attending matinee shows. Pulling off my shades as I entered the building, I was happy to see that there was a ticket for me. I smiled at the girl in the small windowed area and got into line, my eyes darting from one poster to another. Each one had a picture of the leads of Love Among the Clouds.
Both men were quite handsome, and the posters were upbeat and light. I was feeling better already. Once my ticket and my bag had been scanned, I followed the crowd into the theater itself. It was dark and velvety, very old time theater with flocked wallpaper of gold and red carpets. It perhaps held seven hundred people. We weren’t allowed to go to our seats yet, why I had no clue, so I found a flocked wall to lean on and played with my phone, visiting the campus websites again then sending Caiden a text asking what he wanted for dinner when he returned in two days. He replied something light. I asked if cod with cauliflower sounded good. I could run to the fish market tomorrow and browse. Shopping for fresh vegetables, fruit, and meat was one of my favorite pastimes since I’d given up on roma—
“Candy, Sir?” I looked up from my conversation with my boss and into the most soulful, sensual walnut colored eyes I had ever seen. They were set in a beautiful face topped with short, curly raven black hair. He was a tall man, slim, mouthwatering, with the thickest ebony lashes and plumpest lips I had ever seen. My skin felt like I’d been sunburned, my pulse kicked up, and my dick stirred. “Something sweet?” He waved a candy bar at me.
“Oh yes, I would love something sweet,” I said in my best flirty tone. My comment would have two possible outcomes. One was that he’d slap me with the candy bar and run off. That was the straight man response. The second outcome would be that his eyes would move over me then settled on the part of my body he liked best. When his gaze raked down to my toes then came up to rest on my mouth, I knew I had a fellow rainbow boy. That made my prick happy. “What do you have in that little boxy thing for someone who wants to enjoy something sweet but not fat thighs?”
Thanks so much for dropping by!

What fabulous description of the theater. You put me right at the scene! And even mentioned the wallpaper, which is something I always notice in a theater. I could almost smell the candy and paper programs!! And the connection he made. Delicious and soooo flirty!
